it's good to get this kind of news from site, as Jones Chego and his team are managing the root truss assembly (extension) and erection of the truss system on the walls, so I am sure we will soon see the gum poles and the sheeting as well!
well done:

Dear Friends of Tubatse, . . .
I am very happy to be able to tell you, that the roof extension material was picked up at MITEK by Jones Chego for Anytruss CC to close the gap of 550 mm created by the wrongly positioned footings, and so tomorrow morning Jones will start doing the roof - GREAT - and I will go to hospital, and have a mayor OP and hope to be fine in a few days after, so that I can travel to Burgersfort with Niels for a final check on the works before Christmas!
All the best to all of you in the meantime and spaek - view - see you all soon,
best regards
dustin
ps: I am the one on the far left, embraced by my great friend Urs's brother Beat (from Switzerland) and Riad, unfortunately some names we cannot remember, maybe you can?

. . . process report from site . . .
wow, a lot of building materials are on site and the CRDC team around Maurice are working well, when rain permits it, as Limpopo has seen some heavy down pours in the last days. Meeting on site with Vernon is now scheduled at 2-weekly intervals.
Progress from site:
- ring beam on kitchen is done and ready to take the roof,
- ring beam on the new office is being mounted, scaffolding is ready, lintels over the Doka-frames set up,
- all electrical elements are prepared in these two rooms,
- security block is up to the height of the lintels, that should arrive on site today,
so, all together progress is being made and we are getting ready to put tho roof on to the first half of the centre, hopefully we will manage to get this sorted, more to come soon . . .

and another site meeting, to assess the final steps for this phase . . .
Once again, things are very much moving. Vernon from CRDC in Durban was on site to meet with the architect Dustin Tusnovics, whilst Humana was hosting a workshop - training on agriculture, run by high exponents of the Limpopo Agricultural Department.
The team of CRDC, a skills-training company engaging with local trainees are at the moment busy realizing the ring beam casing for the two sand-bag buildings, and waiting for further materials to arrive on site.
A meeting with Herman Bothma and Lindie Roberts from BUCO, our preferred building material supplier has confirmed that the ordered bricks and sand and stones are arriving during the day - and we have confirmation that they did.
So, now we are busy on the works for Guard House too so that we eventually will be able to realize the roof over the entire eastern wing of the project. A meeting with Richard bailey the engineer and Jones Chego has confirmed that we are getting there. At this meeting we also sorted out one minor issue of the fixture of the gum-poles.
Well, we are now all looking forward to see REAL progress on site . . .

work has resumed at a slow but steady pace, and now the roof is off too . . .
dear Friends,
well the project has resumed, and the roof is off again, so that CRDC can do the ring beams, at the same time costing with BUCO is getting finalised, so we are making it happen, keep in touch !
Electrical plant has be implemented under the plaster, and the Humana team are happily working, so well, next week we will have new things happening, but all should work out well from now on . . .
