Site visite 10.10.2013
a lot of plastering has happend and the first bits of the second half of the roof are coming on, and well have a look . . .
Friday, October 4, 2013
. . . and again more from site, but we are there, only a roof missing, some plaster and . . . site visit on 3. Oct. 2013
a tree planting action promoted from the new premisses!
Humana has it's own Substation for electricity, well, let's hope Eskom will always have power running through that thing - and make the community centre run!
inside the community hall, and imagine, 400 people at a meeting, or a wedding or even a party, space for a lot of fun is there . . .
and the stage side, well, we still need to finish it of, but, with a little bit of mistery, we can all imagine the first performance, soon, I hope!
the courtyard, as it will never be seen again, as the roofing will cover a lot and shade the entire place.
so, let's hope we can also accomodate the kids in a good creche soon - as envisaged by Humana.

WOW, this is tooooo improvised guys!
sometimes you get good news from site, and that is great, as in: - all the walls are up and we are ready to plaster, but luckily a good eye has noticed the 'Non-Loadbearing" beam solution - so again, I will be on site tomorrow and work it out as the roof is starting next Monday!!
We are all happy to see this progress and now .. .. . .. . .. . . . ... . .. . are we heading for the actual completion?
it does look like it!
cheers
dustin
PS: thanks for the pictures Simphiwe!

First Site Visite since Phase 2 has Started
![]() |
. . . we are verifying the wall heights . . . |
![]() |
. . . and things are working out well! |

It is with the greatest pleasure that Ican tell you, we arein Phase2 and that means in approx. 2 months the entire project could be finished.
Todays site meeting was to confirm the heightof the new buildings and therefor the roofs and we also had Jones there to verify the details and the materials. Vernon and his team under the ledership of Maurice is working very hard and very well, we found a 4 millimeter discrepancy on one wall, wow, I must say, that is very little!!!
Niels and Susi, now regular visitors from Durban, enjoyd the new views andI guess, we all are looking forward to the end. Anniki and Nora are also more than positive and it is really great to be in a project that generates this kind of enthusiasm!!!
And let it be done, well, I will be on site like once a weekand report as much as I can . . .
yours
Dustin
